Inspiring Cyber Resilience Through Education, Research, and Ethical Leadership

Dr. Raymond Friedman, PhD, is the President of Mile2® Cybersecurity Certifications, a global leader in ANAB-accredited, vendor-neutral cybersecurity training and certification. With more than two decades of experience in cybersecurity education, public policy, and organizational leadership, Dr. Friedman has helped thousands of professionals and organizations across more than 100 countries enhance their cyber resilience and compliance posture.

As a keynote speaker, author, and researcher, Dr. Friedman’s work explores the intersection of cybersecurity, behavioral compliance, and public policy. His doctoral research at Liberty University resulted in the development of the Adaptive Cyber Resilience Policy Model (ACRPM). This first-of-its-kind framework enables organizations to dynamically adapt their cyber policies in response to shifting threats and regulatory demands.

He is also the creator of the Behavioral Compliance Aptitude Assessment (BCAA™), a groundbreaking behavioral analytics instrument that measures how organizational culture, employee adherence, and ethical conviction influence real-world compliance outcomes. The BCAA™ has been adopted by institutions seeking to quantify and improve the human dimensions of cybersecurity governance.

Under Dr. Friedman’s leadership, Mile2 has developed and delivered over 30 ANAB-accredited certification programs aligned with DHS and the NIST NICE Framework, as well as CNSS 4011–4016 standards. These programs are trusted by government agencies, defense organizations, and Fortune 500 companies to upskill their cybersecurity workforces and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Dr. Friedman’s published works, lectures, and keynotes focus on cyber resilience, compliance culture, AI governance, and leadership in digital transformation. His approach blends research-driven insight with practical strategies that empower professionals to lead ethically and think critically in an increasingly complex cyber landscape.

When he’s not instructing or speaking, Dr. Friedman continues to advance new research models and training frameworks designed to merge behavioral science, policy design, and cybersecurity practice — helping organizations worldwide move beyond compliance toward sustainable cyber resilience.
